Returning New Saddles
We are happy to make
exchanges and refunds on new saddles provided that the saddle has not been used
or damaged and a request for returns has been made within 5 days
of your receiving the saddle. Saddles returned marked or damaged in any
way will not be fully refunded. .

New saddles must be paid in full prior to shipping to the customer.
- Shipping charges are
not refundable. However, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost
if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have
determined that the product is defective.
- You are responsible for shipping returns back to us, and your account will be charged for shipping exchanges. We suggest you send your package insured to protect your interest.
- If you are returning a new saddle, you must obtain a Return Authorization
number from Big Horse Tack within 5 days of receiving the saddle. Saddles
that are shipped back to us without a return authorization number on the outside
of the shipping box will not be accepted. If you do not request a Return
Authorization within 5 days of receiving a saddle, the return will not be
accepted and you will not receive a refund.
- If you are requesting an exchange, they will be shipped out upon return of your
item(s) unless other arrangements have been made.
- The saddle must be in brand
new condition with all tags, packaging and boxes etc. Failure to return the
saddle in brand new condition or marked in any way will result in us having to refuse the return or charging you a restocking fee of 25% - 50% depending upon the damage.
We recommend that you check for fit and comfort with one of our Trial saddles
instead.
- We ask that you protect the saddle from damage while
trying it out by using a clean white saddle pad and wrapping your
stirrup leathers with tube socks or another soft material (Please NO Vet
Wrap!).
- Wear short riding boots( no chaps or 1/2 chaps and
please do not put leathers through the keepers contain them within the tube
sock).
To return a saddle
- Contact us using the Contact form on our website or give us a call .
- We will reply you with a RA number shortly.
- Pack the saddle in the orginal box, ensuring that the
correct packing materials are used. Saddles that are damaged
during shipping are the customers responsiblity and your account will be
charged for damages.
